Italy is full of wild animals.
Most people never see them.
Wolves in the Apennines, brown bears in Abruzzo, golden eagles over the Alps, flamingos in Sardinian lagoons. WAW shows you which species live around a place, when they have actually been recorded there, and which farm stays and mountain huts will take you out to look for them — without disturbing anything.

How it works
Three steps, no promises

- Check when it is actually seen Every species page shows the months in which our community really recorded it — not a calendar written at a desk.
- Book directly with a stay Farm stays and mountain huts in the species range. You book with them: WAW charges no commission and is not part of the deal.
What we will never tell you
That you are guaranteed to see an animal. Wildlife does not work that way, and anyone promising it is either lying or planning to bait the animal. For protected species — wolf, bear, nesting raptors — we also withhold precise locations and timing: that is exactly the information someone would need to disturb them.
